Leading Age Services Australia (LASA) is the national peak body representing and supporting providers of age services across residential care, home care, retirement living and seniors housing. Our vision is to enable a high performing, respected, sustainable age service industry delivering affordable, accessible, quality care and services for you . We represent our Members by advocating their views on issues of importance and we support our Members by providing information, services, training and events that enhance performance and sustainability.
We have recently welcomed new Principal Advisors to our National team - Troy Spiers (Principal Advisor Home Care), Sharon McIlwain (Principal Advisor Residential Care) and Jo Thomason (Principal Advisor Retirement Living and Seniors Housing). Lynda Robertson has recently been appointed Manager Accredited training for our national RTO.
Upcoming changes to Understanding Accreditation
From 1 July 2017, public courses including the two day Understanding Accreditation course and the two day Understanding Quality review course will be both managed and facilitated by the Australian Aged Care Quality Agency (AACQA). As such all participant registrations and payments will be managed by AACQA with the dates, locations and online registration available on the AACQA website.
